Thank you for visiting Pets and Pooch!

We are two students who launched this business after we were planning to go on vacation but found it incredibly difficult to find pet-sitting for our beloved hamster, Cookie.

So, we thought we'd launch a super easy, low-cost local pet-sitting service for all.

We bring genuine passion for animals, a strong sense of responsibility, and a customer-focused mindset (plus we're fully backed by our parents).

We understand that working with pets isn't just about the animals - it's also about building trust with their owners.

We are reliable, patient and detail oriented, making sure your animals are safe, comfortable and extremely well cared for.

Ultimately, we provide the kind of service that we would want for our very own hamster-baby, Cookie.

  1. Where can you pet sit, at my own home or yours?

    Our services are entirely flexible and are designed for your convenience! In short, for a small surcharge we can come to you or we’re happy to host your pet at our home.


  2. What accommodations do you have available for my pet?

    We are located in an apartment with lots of space in and around the building, as well as parks in the local neighbourhood. That means not only do we have the space to host your pet(s) in our space, but there are also lots of opportunities for us to take dogs (or other pets) out for fun walks and outdoor time.


  3. How much time will my pet spend alone during the day?

    We are set up to ensure maximum comfort and cuddle time for your pet. Human interaction is prioritized and your pet will rarely be left alone during the course of the day.


  4. How can I check whether you are a fit for me and my pet(s)?

    We invite you to arrange a free meet & greet with us! Whether you want to do a quick coffee chat, or want to meet up during a dog walk, we understand the importance of the vetting process (pun intended!) to ensure that both your and your pet are entirely comfortable! So please feel free to reach out to set up a meet and greet anytime!


  5. How will I know how my pet is doing during the pet-sit?

    Anxious to leave your pet? So were we! So we have set up systems to provide you with regular updates while you are away from your beloved pet so you can rest assured that your pet is in the very best care.
